Rock Your Prom
It's that time of year again! We've been taking note of the most popular hair and style trends of the year and with prom right around the corner, there's no better time than now for some style inspiration.
From the red carpet to the runway, 2015 has been all about relaxed styles and subtle hair and makeup. Here are some of the most outstanding looks in our 2015 prom book:
Taylor Swift wowed us all at this year's Grammy Awards in an eye-popping Elie Saab hi-low gown. Taylor paired her look with a sleek down-do with a deep side part to add the perfect touch of drama to an understated hairstyle. Her subtle makeup showed us that she wanted to look and feel comfortable in her own skin. Taylor definitely got our vote for prom queen with this look.
Model Chrissy Teigen stunned at the 2015 Oscars in a sexy Zuhair Murad gown. She channeled vintage glamour perfectly with relaxed, side swept waves and paired her look with a deep red lip and big earrings to add a touch of drama. Chrissy is picture perfect, with or without hubby John Legend on her arm.
From Duck Dynasty to Dancing With the Stars and all the way to New York Fashion Week, Sadie Robertson is everywhere in 2015. On the Sherri Hill runway, Sadie was all smiles as she rocked a short, jewel-toned prom dress. Fresh-looking hair and makeup was the theme on the runway. Sadie rocked a loose, messy updo with a few loose strands in the front. Paired with a baby pink lip, Sadie pulled off the perfect prom look.
Modern Family's Sarah Hyland has been on our style radar since she aced her look at the 2014 Emmy awards in a two piece Christian Siriano gown. Keeping it light and fresh in coral and white, Sarah topped off her look with a simple ballerina-esque top knot and light makeup. This is a simple look to recreate and we hope to see this look again!
